In this episode, I sit down with Amanda Lundestad, owner managing partner of Active Edge Orthopedic Massage in Urbandale, Iowa.
She’s an Iowa native and she’s a board-certified licensed massage therapist who also has a B.A. from Drake University. Now, as an avid athlete herself, Amanda brings to Active Edge a love of sport and movement of the human body, her personal experience with sports and athleticism having contributed highly to her success as a sports massage therapist.
Beyond her skills as a hands-on practitioner, Amanda is also a continuing education provider and sports massage therapy and business and marketing for massage therapists throughout the United States.
Amanda started the business and found herself growing more and more and more. And it went through a couple of different iterations before recently, she decided it was time for her to sell the practice.
